Kahwa Flower Chai



Kahwa is a traditional green tea widely consumed in the Kashmir valley and across the border in Pakistan and Afghanistan, often as a celebratory beverage. A result of our collaboration with Curio Spice Co, this Kashmiri inspired chai features Afghan saffron, sweet cinnamon, and rose petals.

Yielding a unique flavor derived from rose petals and saffron, this chai should be consumed without milk. Traditional accompaniments include honey and almonds, which are sometimes used as a garnish in the tea.

Directions for one serving

Steep one scant tablespoon for 3 mins in 190-200 F water and strain.

Vary leaf quantity, brewing time, and temperature per individual preferences.
